The V6 source has a DotNetNuke.Skin class and documents it as obsolete, replaced by DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin

I've not looked in the V7 source, but I'd guess that it's been removed in V7 - hence the error you are experiencing as the class no longer exists.

S/b -> should be.

So first line is to ask the skin vendor about their DNN7 support. If the have no good answer then you'll need to modify it yourself, or get someone to do it. Fixing the inheritance should only be changing the top line of the skin. BUT there may be loads of other reasons for it not to work in DNN7. If the vendor's not saying then it may be an 'interesting' journey. I have no idea when this first became obsolete, but I'd guess it was a while back.

Best wishes,

Thanks Richard, that all makes more sense to me now. I hit up Bind for support on the DNN Store. Just giving them their required 24 hours to reply. If not I will at least make an effort to correct the issue myself. I will post back my results.

Basically Bind is recommending the purchase of a DNN 7 ready skin and offered me a discount. So I will probably make that recommendation to my client.
