Slow & Bloated

I grow tired of the spinning telerik wheel. I hate the large footprint on dnn installs.

That is all.

Hello,

I don't know... I agree that Telerik's controls can be a little heavy, but they've enabled many of DNN's interface elements to be much cleaner.

In other words, I wouldn't want to ditch telerik until there's a good replacement.

With the move to client side code, Telerik Controls become less used in the code than before and jQueryUI is included in DNN now as well. However, it takes quite a lot of effort to replace Telerik in all core controls (without a real benefit from functional point of view). And of course, there are a number of 3rd party and inhouse module, which are built using Telerik, i.e. it is quite unlikely to get it removed from DNN platform soon.
