I'm developing a new skin for a client's site. The site combines standard DNN with some classic ASP applications. The ASP applications are a series of sequential forms implemented on a distinct url. The requirement is to 'integrate' these forms and present them via the DNN skin - without using IFrames.

One (maybe daft) idea I've had is to write some code that calls and renders an empty DNN page to an html file in the file system. THe asp code would then be able to access this file and use it as a template via which to present the forms.

Comments, ideas, blue-sky thinking all welcome...

I think this is not (with reasonable efforts) possible without an iframe.
And as sebastian states converting to a DNN module is probably less work.
Sorry to say, but classic asp is dead. :-)

Performance: paying for a  a bigger server is cheaper than developing for classic ASP IMO
