How can I use WebAPI Service Framework in My Custom DNN Module ??
I reviewed these links :
http://www.dnnsoftware.com/Wiki/Page/Services-Framework-WebAPI
http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/Page/DotNetNuke-7-0-Developer-Quick-Start
http://dnnmodule.com/TabId/111/Default.aspx?ArticleId=511
But i found all the examples not interact with custom tables data .. It use DNN Native DAL like Portal Settings .. Roles ..only from DNN Native DAL..
What If I want to use WebAPI Service Framework but to interact with my custom tables like : students or employees tables
Shall I handle it like normal way ?? Handle My own DataProvider, SQLDataProvider, Controller & Info Classes and above of that DAL .. will handle the service framework ..or there is any other way ??

I use Entity Framework instead of the DAL2 behind my WebAPI (Just call it as usual from your WebAPI method)

Hi
Go through this link for getting started with service framework web api.
http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-blog/cid/142400/Getting-Started-with-Services-Framework-WebAPI-Edition
To connect with your custom tables create an instance of IDataContext and use ExecuteQuery() method inside the public method in controller class.

Ex

using (IDataContext ctx = DataContext.Instance())
{
ctx.ExecuteQuery(CommandType.StoredProcedure,
"Procedurename", param1,param2,param3);
}

Thanks,
