hello, I see telerik bounced you over here (http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/editor/fixenclosingp-does-not-work-in-ie8.aspx), but i'm afraid we don't have any answers. Whilst it's true that we are using a custom implementation of telerik it is nothing more than a wrapper over it , we do not rewrite any of their scripts (in fact we cant as they all exist as resource files embedded in the telerik.web.ui.dll). As such, whilst we do expose a way to enable/disable FixEnclosingP via a DNN UI (i.e. the html editor manager), we do not control when it gets applied - that automatically occurs within the radeditor. A quick google (https://www.google.co.uk/#q=telerik+radeditor+not+working+in+ie8) shows plenty of IE8 issues, many in rare/corner cases, so I'd guess that they focus on the more recent versions of the major browsers, and would not be sure when/if this bug might be fixed.
