Have you add the user Login to the database user ?  After restore the database the useQL Management Sr Login can't be added and have been added using the SQL Management Studio.  To check it on the database, open you database on SMMS open the database/Secuity tab, and then the users tab.  Check if your user (it is on the most install dbo) have a Login Name added on advanced Settings.  If not you have to add this using EXEC sp_change_users_login  'Update_One', 'userName', 'userLoginName';

Hi, I've been using MyLittleAdmn tool and can log in with the credentials that were in the config file.  I can see the user under security and all seems well.

Thanks for any help!

So you see that the user have a UserLogin Name in the advanded Settings?  Did you restore the database over Plesk ?  If yes, please check if you have procedures still on your database.

Hi, I checked and it looks like all procedures are there. I'm not sure if the database was restored over Plesk.

I have tried upgrading but now I have narrowed the problem down to portalsettings being blank.  such as the code below in default.aspx

if (PortalSettings.ActiveTab.PageHeadText != Null.NullString && !Globals.IsAdminControl())

 {

Page.Header.Controls.Add(new LiteralControl(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.PageHeadText));

}
