I am proud to announce that www.server-essentials.eu is ready. I have been working on the site since March of this year and slowly building a new IT community for IT Consultants and SMB Business owners. I will be writing a lot of content on SMB IT issues questions and issues. My friend Boudewijn Vermeulen will join in for Apple questions! If you want to join us please register an account and share your knowledge with others!

Our site has answers on old or new questions. You have come to the right place if you still run a SBS 2011 server or if you are ready to move to the cloud. If you own Mac clients and want to use them with your Microsoft network we have answers for you.

Join our community for IT consultants, IT architects and business owners and share your knowledge with others or simply ask questions and get answers.

Mariette,

Mariette - as always it looks great. Is this built on DNN Community or Evoq? I am very impressed with how you have done this and I hope it goes well for you!! :-)

Mariette  I can confirm that the verification doesn't work as expected.

upon registering and clicking the link it tells me it's wrong and when I'm logged in I get the 'you're not using a verified account' message all the time.

Not sure why that is occurring.

Nina

Very nice looking, this definitively works as an inspiration for me on how a good site should look!

I get some error ("Invalid verification code") when clicking on the link in the verification email.

I really liked the menu with the sub-menu's having small icons that helps to get a nice overview. Could you tell me if this is something that comes through a module, or did you hack it yourself? It would be really great if you could tell a bit more on what you have used, like if it is Evoq or CE, if you have used some commercial modules, built stuff yourself or used open source things. I see that you use Active Forum, is that correct? I myself try to use YAF, because it is a free module, was it so that Active Forum is no longer developed as a free module, but you get it as a part of Evoq, or have I mixed things up?

Great work, sites like this will make people aware of that dnn is the best choice for CMS solutions!
