Hi,

I'm using a CodeEndeavors silverlight module template that is about 3 years old. It installs fine onto anything prior to DNN7. DNN7 throws an error trying to install a package that actually installs into previous versions.

I believe DNN7 doesn't like the old version/format of the manifest file(s) to be able to install packages built using this older template.

Can anyone point me at a Silverlight module template that WILL build and install into DNN7 or at any resource that will allow me to grab version/format of manifest file that will work.

Thanks

AFAIK DNN 7 Needs the dnn6 manifest, you find a documentation on the Wiki.

Thanks Matthias, I'll look at using that, or trying at least.

This is the error I'm getting, installing a module built from a template pre-DNNversion7, if anyone wants to comment...

A critical error has occurred. The ReadElementContentAsString method is not supported on node type Comment. Line 4, position 7.

Have you JavaScript using jQuery or jQueryUI in your code ?  If yes please check them and the changes on jQuery 1.9.1 and jQueryUI 1.10.3, that is included on DNN.

Finally, I have time now to revisit this...

Below is a copy of my dnn manifest file, version 5.0
I need to install the module into DNN 7.x

The package does install into any DNN prior to 7.x

I need a .dnn6 manifest file as I cannot see what is wrong with what I'm currently using.

Can someone please post a .dnn6 full sample manifest file or post amendments to the mark-up below?

Thanks.
