The default account page has some weird stuff:

Mention the last date the password was changed, twice.  User Id Online which is always 'false'. 2 submit buttons ("change password" and "Update" under the read-only account information). Telling the current user that he is authorised, not locked out and not deleted. All not very usefull in our situation.

On dnnsoftware.com I don't even see the account information at all, password and accountname are 2 seperate tabs, instead of 'display name' there are now 2 seperate fields 'first name' and 'last name', which combine into the display name. etc. It seems you can customise the account page quit a lot. How/where can this be done?

please note, dnnsoftware.com is running evoq social, which switches out some platform functions for different/enhanced versions. As for the account page, many of the fields only show to admin or host users, so AFAIR it's not as cluttered for "normal" users

I can determine who can see/edit which properties on the Manage Profile tab, but what about the Manage Account tab? Is there any configuration possible?

The whole Activityfeed page seems to have gone through some changes somewhere between 7.0.5 and 7.1.2:
- First Name and Last Name where (confusingly) on both the account as on the profile page and are now only on the profile page.
- Account tab and password tab have been combined (although this requires improvement as there are now 2 submit buttons: the "update" button for the top part (or maybe the whole page?) is at the bottom of the page, while the middle part of the tab has it's own "update" button at the middle.)
- The readonly account information is new
- The profile page now has categories/folders.
