I am in the process of trying to migrate a DNN 5.0.6 site to a new server.  Once I got everything copied over, I was able to bring the site up, but I got the message "You are using an unlicensed and unsupported version of DotNetNuke Professional Edition."

We are not going to be running two sites.  When this is completed, it will have the same URL as the current one does.  The only current difference is that it resides on another box and has a different sub domain.  I can't give out the actual URL, but the main site is something like www.blah.com, while the site we are migrating to is currently something like test.blah.com, and will be changed to www.blah.com when this is complete.

Is there any way to get rid of this message in the meantime?  Also, if not, will this message go away once we change the domain name to what the current primary site has?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the license is mapped with the IP and this is changed on the new Server.  So you have to contact the Support of the DNN Corp.

Also be sure you have mapped the Login Name to your database user, otherwise you have only read access.
