So recently I switched to advanced mode of DNNFriendlyUrl provider and found this bug:

1. I have some https pages (for auth and administration)

2. My website is in Russian so I`m using cyrillic symbols in URLs

3. When I`m switching from https page to a page with cyrillic symbols in URL I got all of my cyrillic characters misinterpreted and as long it is URL i got HTTP Error code 400. Latin chars stays intact.

For example,  example.com/Решения becomes example.com/Оборудование

Ordinary mode of DNNFriendlyUrl works fine.

Browsing between any http pages is fine.

Thanks for the link, Sebastian.

I have found a solution there, hope it will be applied to the conversion code soon.

For everyone who faces this problem with non-ANSI chars, solution is performing following script on your SQL Database:

Insert into {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}PortalSettings (PortalId, SettingName, SettingValue, CultureCode)
values (-your portal id-, 'sslClientRedirect', 'False', -your culture code-)

(taken from here: http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Support_Forums/forumid/8/postid/11900/scope/posts#11900)

I made it manually with MS SQL Server, and it works fine.
