Hi, I've just upgraded to 7.1.2 Community Edition DNN... so far so good.

I've noticed that I cannot upload a 7mb file through the link upload tool. It tells me the file size is too large.

However, when logged in as administrator, using the File Manager, I can upload that 7mb file to the same folder (but as admin I still can't do it through the link upload function  uising RADEditor)

Can you tell me how to increase file upload size for non admin users? through the upload link in the RADEditor.

Thanks

Tom

When logged in as a Super User (host), open the Host --> Advanced --> HTML Editor Manager page. There you will find for each of the document manager types (such as image) a setting for "Max File Size". As I recall the default is 1MB for all file types except media which have a 4MB limit.

Also note that by default the maximum file size for any upload is set at either 8 or 12 MB (depending on DNN version) in the site's web.config file. This can be changed by editing the <httpRuntime> node of web.config to increase the values for maxRequestLength and requestLengthDiskThreashold. They are specified in KB. It may also be necessary to increase the value for executionTimeout should timeouts occur while uploading large files.
