I am trying to test the enrollment notifications process and getting the following error.  This only occurs when i check "Attach Event" in the enrolments section of an event.

A critical error has occurred.
The process cannot access the file 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\TestSite\Website\Portals\0c1f0a31b-0e00-40f8-8fba-59bad93053aa.vcs' because it is being used by another process.

Also, when i dont check "Attach Event", the error goes away but no emails are received.  Note: Only the SuperUser account was enrolled for the event but i wouldnt think this has anything to do with it.

Site Details-->Dnn 4.3.1, SQL Server 2005, XP Pro, localhost

Is anyone else getting the same problems?.  Are there some fundamental problems with the event module under dnn 4.3x.   I seem to be having difficulty getting the enrolments/notifications processes to work.

Cheers
John

I get this same error - no emails recieved, and some other process is locking up the vcs file. I've looked around the forums and have found others with this problem, but no solutions...

Just want to let everyone know, I've been doing some extensive work to get this module up and running correctly, we (my company, me the only developer) have decided to finish out this, rather than build our own.  I will be doing work to this part of the events module sometime in the next couple weeks, and I'll re-post back with a zip file of the fixes.

For the rest of what I've fixed, see this thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/20/threadid/35565/scope/posts/Default.aspx#86877
