actually that's expected behaviour -when you use a source package you have to build it in release mode so all the modules/providers etc. get built and zipped up into packages for installation -in general I recommend using install packages (you can read more on source packages and the cases when they're appropriate at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... )

Hi,

I added the html module , but I am not able to work with it. as it is throwing below exception as soon as I click on edit content. A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

please retrieve details of the issue from Admin > EventLog.
Did you encounter issued during recent upgrades of DNN?
