Hello everyone,

Today i have been having issues with a DNN 7 portal that is not enabling me to save HTML modules. (technically it saves, but it takes forever, and never recycles back to the page the HTML is on. You have to X out of it, and refresh the page).

My event viewer is spammed with this message

try to delete cached pages manually inside your /portals/9/cache/pages folder.

typically that indicates one of two things: 1. you don't have correct permissions set (i.e. you only have read/add set and not modify), so the cache files cannot be deleted (to fix ensure your site user has modify permissions from the root folder down) or 2. a 3rd party process such as indexserver/anti-virus is causing those files to lock (however that usually only occurs intermittently -if this occurs on every update then option 1 is the likely problem)
