Hello,

I've got a fresh install of DNN 7.2.0 but cannot edit any html content where the RadEditor is called.  I also cannot edit any users where the RadEditor is called after they are created except to add / remove roles.

I can edit html on the screen and save the content.

I've tried doing a recursive synch of all folders in the file manager to see if that would help.

Any suggestions?

The null reference exception related to get_ModuleActions is sort of a catch-all error that usually follows other errors occurring as a module loads. Check the event viewer (while logged in as host for possibly more information) for one or more errors logged just before this one. Those other errors should point us in the right direction to solve the issue.

My guess is that the RadEditor provider did not install correctly or one of its files did not get created properly on install. Do you recall seeing any errors during the initial install? Look in the website's portals/_default/logs/ folder for the InstallerLogxxxxxx.resources file into which any installation errors will have been logged.

Alternatively, if you have not begun to extensively build your website's content, you may find it easier to delete all of the website files and database and attempt a new installation from a fresh download of DNN 7.2.0 platform.

Bill,

Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll check the install logs for errors but I think you are right...I might be better off just installing it over and see how that goes.
