Hi,
I installed DNN 3.2 on a Windows 2003 machine running SQL Server 2005.  This DNN is intended for internal use only and I've been having endless problems in accessing DNN from outside of the local computer.  However, when I install IIS cleanly I can access the basic startup page from any computer on the network, however the moment I install IIS it becomes unavailable.  I've checked and I do have Default.aspx as the home page (otherwise I couldn't access locally),  I have Network Service enabled on the wwwroot folder (this is acting as the default site), and I have "Allow Anonymous Access" in the site's settings.   What more do I need to do to get access to this from off the network?

Thanks

Did you add an additional alias that the website will be accessed by the other compters on the network?  DNN is installed by default AS localhost and will answer to nothing else.  If you want to access the website using another URL (like http://server ) then you have to add an alias for http://server.

Thank you very much.  I knew it was something simple like that.  That's appeared to have fixed the problem.
