Hello,

Is there a way to customize the page where you set your confirm your user name and set new password?

Email with reset-password-link is sent to me properly, but when i'm redirected to reset password page, it does not fit to rest of my website.

I know where the file responsible for changing password is, but do i need to change it manually? It would be nice if DNN allow me to make some changes in some settings to customize reset password page.

The file is located in DNN directory under /admin/Security and the files are ResetPassword.aspx and  ResetPassword.aspx.cs

It seems like this is some kind of module. Can i copy/paste this module somehow, customize it, and install it, and use it instead of default admin/Security ?

Regards,

Tomek

it's not a templated page -it's just a simple usercontrol with no additional styling (so should inherit the style of your site). There is no capability to use a custom reset page at this point -you may want to log it at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/voice if this is something you need

What a coincidence, I am looking for the same thing on the same day. Cathal provided the crucial clue to the solution. Its a control, so it will load no matter what page on your site you use. You can create a page, and change the password reset email to point to that page instead of default.aspx.

Go to Admin >> Languagues

Select Site mode

Look for " EMAIL_PASSWORD_REMINDER_BODY.Text "

Edit that entry and change the url in the body copy to whatever you would like.
