Hi,

I downloaded "DotNetNuke 4.3.1 Install" and it worked fine.

But when I tried to add Forum module I get this error:

I opened the App_data/Database.mdf file with Visual Studio 2005 Server Explorer and there is a stored procedure with named GetModule Settings not GetModuleSetting.

I tried to rename GetModuleSettings stored procedure GetModuleSetting. But I couldn't, Server Explorer doesn't allow to do this.

Is there a way to rename this SP or add another new SP?

Or is there anybody faced with this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Which DNN version are you using, which forum version?

All my Portals have dbo.GetModuleSetting - AFAIR there was only an beto or RC, where this sproc had been dropped. please make sure, you use a final version (3.1.x, 3.2.x, 3.3.3, 4.0.3, 4.3.3)

i m using dnn 4.3.3,
i tried both the source installation (with the connection string:"Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;")
and starter kit installation.
i successfully reached the default page,  but couldn't open the login page, it gives "The stored procedure 'dbo.GetModuleSetting' doesn't exist" error.

i tried the source installation with the database created in sql server 2005 and dnn gave nullreferenceexception error:

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
