Hi guys, I have just installed v4.3.1 and can browse it on the server it resides on. If i try and look at it from a remote browser it diverts to http://localhost/dotnetnuke and I get a page not found error. Where do I stop it from diverting to localhost?

Thanks

you probably installed it on the server by browsing to http://localhost/dotnetnuke. DNN uses the hostname to link to a portal, if the hostname that is entered in the browser is not found in the db, then dnn redirects to the first url of the first portal.

You can fix this by adding the proper url in the PortalAlias table in your sites DB. Rember to recycle the pool after you did that because dnn caches the portalalias records...

cheer,

Erik
