Thanks Cathal,

I verified by returning a dummy record from the SP and the errors were not appearing.. Do you know if the issue is being tracked and fix will be implemented in 7.2.2. Is there any number/link i can check.

thanks,

I know an issue is logged as we found a similar problem with dnnsoftware.com -but I don't know if that is exactly your issue or not, and have no way of knowing without having a copy of the website/database (if you were prepared to share I could debug the issue)

there is a known issue with old user accounts that were missing profiles -it was being looked at for 7.2.2 . This function call's the GetAvailableUsersForIndex sproc - you could try clearing that down so no entries are returned i.e. attempts at indexing users will not work but likely the exception will not occur

Cathal,

I just encountered this problem (at least I think it's this problem -- see http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/forumid/107/postid/507759/scope/posts#507759) in a site that I just upgraded from 4.x to 7.3.2.  I used Sebastian's altered script to "fix" the problem that was crashing the site when the search indexer runs.

I think that the client will be willing to share the database if you need that for some debugging.
