Hello friends,

I need to hide language selection from the one dynamic page(self created module using user control).

Page should be display in the language where user earlier visited page. I mean for example user is on "Product list" page & language is Spanish then if user goes to "Product Detail" page then I need to display Product detail page in Spanish language also I need to hide language selection in Product Detail page.

How can I accommodate this functionality?

 Thanks & Regards

you may simply hide language selection by removing the skinobject from the skin.
Regarding memorizing the language used last, is more difficult, you will need to store it either in a cookie or (for registered users) on the server in the database - AFAIK this is currently not supported by the core framework and you need to use your own component for it (but DNN does read language preferences from the browser) and you may assoclate different portal aliasese for each language, e.g. mysite.com for English and mysite.de for German

Hello Sebastian,

Thanks for very quick replay.

I can't remove the skin object from the skin. B'coz same skin is used in else pages where I need the language selection.
Please suggest me any alternate way.

Thanks & Regards

clone the skin acx file as skin_wo_language.aspx and remove language sko just from this version, you may apply to the pages, where you want no language selector to show up.
