Is there a way to set the user to only select an image from a folder and not upload their of photo?

Trying to setup a list of avatars that they can choose from for their photo.

Or is there some other way it can be done through the user profile? I tried setting up as a list, yet that only returns a dropdown. Would like to have a checkboxlist but that's not an option.

Help please.

theres no built in way - the user profile field is a user specific field so it is something they can set. In theory you could make it an "admin" field in which case only admins can set it (or you could write code to use to allow the user to select from a list and then use the API to set the value)

By default, User profile photo are stored in the folder that DNN creates for each user. To use an image like a profile photo you must to add the image into the files table and the image must be physically on the user's folder so I do not see much solution for what you're proposing. Maybe creating a custom module you could get what you intend.
