I've installed previous versions of DNN MANY Times the old fashioned way and have set up using Integrated Security as that is a requirement. For the first time I am trying to use the DotNetNuke_iis.exe installer to install DNN 7.x

Unfortunately, I cannot figure a way to force the installer to use integrated Security on my SQL 2008 R2 and NOT SQL "SA" account.

Is there a work around to force the installer to use Integrated and NOT .... "SA"

Thanks in advance.

forget the installer, download DNN install package from DotNetNuke.codeplex.com and install as you are used to.

wow, ok... Guess the installer still has some well.... setbacks on such type of integrated install?

Believe it or not... you are not the first DNN guru to advise installing the old traditional way.

Thanks for the info.

Still welcome work-a-rounds if any exists... but for now... i will install the old trusted way.

Wb Platform Installer and WebMatrix are provided by Microsoft to include prerequisites as well as the product. unfortunately it doesn't cover all install situations.
