Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to add a new link like the "Terms of Use" or "Privacy Statement" in my site footer that could point to an external URL?  I know that it has something to do with the static resources in the Language tab, but all the information that I could find is the text that is displayed when you click on one of the links.

Could I perhaps create a new resource field somehow that would have the value of the external URL, then I could just add something like:

<dnn:EXTERNALURL runat="server" id="dnnEXTERNALURL" CssClass="externalurl" />

To my skin.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Kevin

do you want to style the link or open the target in a popup like term of use and privacy?

Hi Sebastian!

Currently my terms and privacy don't open in a pop-up. They just load in the same page, but if there was a way to make it so the external link would open in a pop-up, that would be ideal! That way the visitor would still have the original site open in the original window.

Thanks,

Kevin
