I would like to see only C# code syntax when viewing the DotNetNuke.chm file. Every time I uncheck the "Visual Basic" code checkbox, it reverts to checked when going to another page. Is there a way to set this globally or make it permanent?

not within the file itself as a chm is a compiled htm application - you can extract the files make any changes you want and repack them - see http://superuser.com/questions/224774... for an example

Ummm...the dotnetnuke.chm file has thousands of entries. I am not going to edit each single one and remove the VB stuff!

Whoever created the chm file, I am sure there's a setting to NOT include VB syntax. Maybe they can create 3 files. One with C# only, one VB only and one for both. I think most developers want to see one syntax, the one they are familiar with the most.

However I do remember when I switch off a language in a chm help file, it was a global setting as long as the file was open. I find dotnetnuke.chm behavior unusual.

I might create my own chm file from the source if it's not too much work.

AFAIK, documentation has been created as a community project from source using sandcastle, Ernst Peter should be able to provide further details.
