I recently setup a Custom Login Page for a site I manage.  Everything looked good on the page...  Then I logged out...

When I clicked the Login link, I immediately got an IIS error saying that the page had too many redirects.  I used SQL Management Studio to login to the db, changed the LoginTabId to NULL, but I still have the "too many redirects" issue with the pop-up.

What happened?

Frustratingly enough, I'm unable to login now... Is there something I can change without loggin in?

Thanks in advance!

if you've change a value in the database you have to force an application domain recycle to pick up the change e.g. open web.config, add a space, remove the space and then save, this will force a recycle and pick up the changed value. Note: you may want to also try mysite.com/default.aspx?ctl=login

You're my hero!

I did actually recycle the site after I changed the db.  However, I was able to login using your suggestion above (didn't know that was possible).  What I did was a rookie mistake.  My login page didn't have the correct permissions.  I'm still a little confused why I wasn't able to login once I changed the TabId in the db... but Oh Well... It's all good now!  Thanks a million!
