Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to apply a footer to all my pages on my site and whilst working on most of the page there's a problem is on the page after clicking on the edit profile button. It just wont simply let you add any modules.

From what I understand the EditProfile control is global and not specific to a desktop module definition.

Has anyone found out how to overcome this problem?

Only other painful option for me would be to put the footer in the skin but since the footer is rather dynamic this is not a good option at all.

Cheers,

Joe

Check the edit page Skin and Container, configured in Admin > Site Settings, maybe you are using a combination with limitations.

Thanks Sebastian.

The skin is coming from the profile tab and is working as expected. Probably has something to do with the edituser control being loaded on the tab dynamically where it cant find or doesn't place the modules relating to the tab. I'm pretty sure it's another bug, was wondering if anyone was having the same issues.

In fact it is a massive bug and happening in the reply screen of this post. The reply screen doesn't have the footer but the viewing of the post does.
