Not sure if this is part of 7.2.2, but I just noticed today it's also not pulling the favicon.ico file like it was before. Works with 7.2.1.

Ignore the favicon issue. Not sure what it was, but it's working now.

We've just upgraded to v7.2.2 and encountered the same problem.

I am affected as well. I have tried various skins, both stock and one from EasyDNN Solutions. No matter which skin I use that has the search object enabled, I get the artifacts in question. This is keeping from updated all client sites to 7.2.2, so staying with 7.2.1 for now.

We are having this issue now with several 3rd party skins. So something is broken in the core causing this behavior regardless of the skin. Can someone please look into this ASAP? Meanwhile, a quick workaround would be most appreciated. Thanks!
