Hi, I am new here and would like some guidance.

New to DNN, done some simple web sites on MS Server 2003 in the past.

I have a server, loaded MS Server 2008 Standard 32 bit, IIS is loaded with ASP. Nothing special, running IMail as a SMTP mail server.

Want to put up a CMS so DNN looks like it will do the job. I tried loading DNN previously but ran into issues with Login.aspx not found type errors. Had an issue with the OS, so it is reloaded, clean build.

With Server 2008, there is a patch that is suggested for DNN, still have not loaded that.

I at the point where I am about to start the DNN install, but still have nothing in IIS 7 other than the default website. Should I create the website I am going to use or will DNN install do that?

Specific, straight forward guidance here would be very much appreciated! :-)

Bruce
