I am not sure what the page is called. When we hover over our account at the top of the page, it says "Visit My Profile". In Page Management it is evidently called the Activity Feed page. I will call it the Activity Feed page.

I think the Activity Feed page is very confusing, so I intend to restructure it; the features in it that is. For example, for this web site when I go to my profile there is a button to edit my profile. I think that is a better way. I also do not like that there is duplication of functions; there are multiple buttons for the same thing.

Has anyone documented an alternative? If not then I will decide what to do but if there are any suggestions already available then I am interested in that.

I tried searching for help. I did not find much help and the threads I did find in the Administration and Configuration forum indicates that it is not as easy as it could be to restructure the Activity Feed page.

you may setup profile pages using the modules as you like - and for ViewProfile specify the HTML templates you prefer.
