Hi people,

I'm desperately in need of a survey module that can set questions put into categories and produce results grouped by those categories. I need to be able to set radio button list options with different score values assigned to each option. At the end of the survey the score for the selected option for each question should saved. After the same survey has been taken by a number of people, the results should show the total score for each question as well as totals aggregated by category. I need graphical displays of these results as well. In addition, location information should submitted before the survey, and I would like results disaggregated by location.

I've tried OnyakTech ReZults but it doesn't calculate scores properly. Also it doesn't export the scores in the results export, and neither do several other form modules I've tested, including FormMaster.

Any suggestions?

Hello Chay,

I might be wrong, but I don’t think you’ll find an off-the-shelf module to do exactly what you’re looking for. It sounds like you need a custom module developed for this application. Not sure if you have considered using a module like xMod Pro. No, XMP is not a survey module, but it’s used to create custom modules.

Some time ago my wife created a module using XMP that enabled user to select radio buttons and dropdowns to answer questions. The results were totaled and provide a response based on the input. Not quite the same as what you are looking for, but in some ways similar.

If you were to use XMP to develop a survey module you will need to know how to program using SQL. It’s not something you can select this that and the other from a setup template… it’ll need to be coded.
