Hi All!

So I am currently writing a Crystal Reports module in DNN 7.0.2 and I am encountering a strange error.

In the module itself, all I am really using is a crystal reports viewer and a report document, then I am just setting the report document as the report source for the viewer. I am keeping it simple for now just so I can try to work out this bug.

Anyway though, the error is that when I am logged in as a superuser, the report viewer doesn't display fully. When I am logged out or logged in as a regular user, I can use the module just fine. Please see my screenshots below for more info.

So what I am looking for is anyone who can point me in the right direction as to how to solve this problem, because I am stumped. I am really new to software development in general, so this might just be something silly, but if anyone could at least tell me what to look for or point me in the right direction as to finding this bug that'd be awesome.

I have done a ton of research into Crystal Reports modules and DNN, and it seems like there has been a lot of strife when it comes to using these two technologies together. Now that I have spent the past week banging my head on the wall trying to make one of my own, I can certainly see why there is no Crystal Reports Module available for free downloading. So, after I do finish this module, I will be releasing a free and open source version on DNN Forge

at a guess I'd say that there is a javascript clash as when you're logged in as a superuser additional javascripts are loaded - I'd suggest pressing F12 to open the browser tools (or open firebug if using firefox), and see if any script errors are shown. If they are it should help you identify what script you need to only load for which user.
