From everything I can see ContentItem forces IHydratable, and you can't use IHydratable on anything but a single integer key.

Is this a correct assumption, and other than performance what am I given up by not inheriting from ContentItem in the info class?

I basically have a child relational table that I really don't want to add a separate identity key on. I have a person table with a identity key, and event table with an identity key. Relating those two tables is a registration table whose indexed on PersonId/EventId forcing uniqueness. Currently the Registration table retrieves rows, but they are all blank since I've added inheritance from ContentItem.

ContentItem is a concept hooked on top existing DNN objects to allow unified taxonomy and maybe other future concepts, but the implementation is missing a number of typical requirements. If you don't need to provide integration with Taxonomy, I'd simply ignore it.

Thanks. Since I'm working on tempting this at the same time is it a safe bet that I should only include tables with a single identity key and use regular CBO (no hydratable) for everything else?
