Is it possible to display certain pages only when a certain language is selected? The background: I have to add a second language for a portal that mostly relies on one non-multilingual module. The easiest way that I can think of to offer a language switch here (besides cloning the website which is not desired) is to clone the module, translate it, and add a page with the translated module (and a translated page title). Of course that wouldn't be much fun if both pages remain visible no matter which language was selected.

Of course I am also very interested in other ways to getting this done.

this is, how DNN core language specific pages (aka core Content localization) works, however you will have to deal with localization workflow and always start with primary portal language. I'd test this first on a site not in productions, since you cannot undo.

Thank you, Sebastian. I guess you are talking about http://dnncltools.codeplex.com/? Indeed, this looks good. A few more questions, if I may: Do you know if other DNN users are happy with it? Can the localization be enabled on portal level - will it have any effect on other portals on the same server?

No, a couple of Features from Sasha's tool have been incorporated into DNN core, although the solution still has challanges, but might suit your Special use cate.
Go to Host > Host Settings, unblock the Feature (be careful, this will open it to all sites within the Installation).
After you made sure you set the Primary language for your website, you may enable CL for a single Website irreversable in Admin > Languages.
Good luck!

Tried it out on a test machine now, interesting stuff, more options there than I thought. Thank you once again, Sebastian.
