Hello World,

I love the Awesome Cycle slide show on the Home page and wanted to edit it. I realized that the images are named banner1.jpg, banner2.jpg, banner3.jpg and banner4.jpg and there are located in the Images directory, so I replaced the 4 images with my own images bearing the same name (banner1.jpg, banner2.jpg, banner3.jpg and banner4.jpg) and replaced the images in the  HTML module with the newly uploaded banner1.jpg, banner2.jpg, banner3.jpg and banner4.jpg...

But the trick didn't work! The result was all 4 images displaying at the same time in a vertical row :)

Best Regards

Glogo

most likely you deleted the side module with the JS code, which takes care of the cycling.

Glogo,

you can easily integrate such a slide show into your skin as well, but if you prefer to use an HTML module, I would suggest to add an extra module for injecting the necessary jQuery code on the page. Will Strohl's Content Injection for DNN does a great job for this!

As Sebastian pointed out, you propably deleted the code (more or less accidentally, as your HTML Editor provider may be configured to not accept scripts). Therefore it would be better to use mentioned module for that.

If you need scripts for jQuery slideshows, just use Google, you'll find a lot of them.

Best wishes
Michael
