 i have windows server 2008 R2 and MS SQL server 2012. i m installing dotnetnuke 7 it running on iis also installwizard.aspx page is coming but when i go to database information tab there is coming error like 

Database Connection Error.......

my string connection is 

<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(SERVER);Database=mydatabase-int;uid=id;pwd=pwd;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

 

help me plz.....

in such cases the issue is usually an incorrect database detail (e.g. the sql server is using a different instance name) or if it is remote then it has not been enabled for remote connections. My recommendation is these circumstances is to remove DNN from the equation and please try creating a udl file (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libra...) and testing that - they often reveal better exceptions (such as sql connections not supporting remote connections etc.). If you can create one and connect, open the udl file in notepad and you'll see the connection string you need.
