Hi

I have created 2 pages for a security role and has given the permission.

Now by default the page i created first is set as the home page for the security role.

Is there any way for setting the 2nd page as the home page for the above role?

Thanks,

Have you thought about using one page with two groups of modules?

Example: Set the page view permissions to All Users and then one group of modules to view permissions for Unauthenticated Users and the second group of modules to view permissions for Registered Users.

If you really want to set the home page dynamically, based on role, here is an older thread that may provide you with some insight: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/forumid/160/threadid/432071/scope/posts/threadpage/1

Regards
Mike

there isn't a way to set a homepage for a security role (plus what happens if a user is in 2 roles?), though you could write your own custom authentication provider and have it redirect accordingly after login. However IMHO Mike's suggestion of using module visibility is probably the easiest and best way

Thanks Mike and Cathal for your reply. Cathal, i noted your point of one user with multiple role.
Anyway i have done this by creating a custom login module and redirect from there by checking the role of the login user.
