If memory serves, there's a task in Host, Schedule that needs to run to update the RSS feeds. Hopefully, someone can remind me of which scheduled task it is (I think it's Search Engine scheduler). If that task is disabled or hasn't run recently, that could be the problem.

Yes.  You must have the search scheduled task enabled.  The RSS feed uses the data from the search results to fill out the feed.

Joe, does it still work with Portal search in DNN 7.2. ff using Lucene - and with modules using the new search Interface?

hello once again
can someone help me ?
I have been trying to setup my rss news feed with no sucess
I have all the steps:
I have placed the announcement module on a page and i have allow syndication
I have run -Search Indexer
I did the same with scheduler
I have the dotnetnuke news RSS module on another page
I can see on that RSS module 'Edit NewsFeed' and 'Get aggregated RSS'

- When I click on 'Get aggregated ..' I have a blank page with an error message:

(Erreur d'analyse XML : aucun élément trouvé
Emplacement : http://10.1.13.111/intranet/DesktopMo...
Numéro de ligne 1, Colonne 1 :)

- When I click on "edit NewsFeed', I have a page where I must fill informations

finaly I can't get my thing running
can someone help please

AFAIR there is an issue with RSS feed from announcement module, please check issue tracker on dnnannouncement.codeplex.com.
