Almost certainly means your database does not match the files in the folder. One or the other is likely partially upgraded. Restore BOTH to the before state.

This is how all things started
- I'm building my company intranet and users are starting using it
The site is hosted on a windows 2003 server sp2 + sql 2008 r2
I was looking for some new features but this features were avalaible only on framework 4.0 or ealier
I looked how to make IIS 6 to run asp.net 4.0 and I did it and succeded;
I did a backup of my dnn 6.2 installation folder + DB and I did upgrade to dnn 7.2; it was a success
I realised that I cannot add module to my pages and after hours of looking through forum; I decided to install launch a free dnn 7 installation but there was an error talking on interactive mode
without any solutions, I decided to return to my dnn 6.2
I did all restore: nothing
I reinstalled IIS, SP2 nothing
actually I have 2 DB backup's one operate with the dnn 6.2 folder with these results:
- cannot connect my admin or host account
- tables seems to be empty
the second DB has information in it but cannot operate with my dnn 6.2 folder and return error of pipe, etc..
I can find a way to activate the host account but the real issue how can I transfer data from DB2 to DB1
otherwise, I will have to built everything from fresh
thanks for your help

I finally solve the issue
I can't really explain this
I did a restore of DB1 (remember DB1 is the one that operate with my dnn 6.2 folder with no data)
I launched my site
It came on with no layout, no template, I cannot even connect to the host account
I did a restore of the DB2 I then modified my web.config by replacing the DB1 name by the DB2 name.
Just like a dream, every thing came back, password, layout etc..
now there is another issue
I installed the active directory login module so that users can use their AD account to login
but someone launches the site for the first time he received an error message: "You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied because your Web browser is sending a WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web server is not configured to accept. ... "
He has to close that browse window and launche the site in anonther browser windows
How can I solve this ?
thanks
