Hi,

Yes maker was private here.

One query ... I was able to test SMTP-test mail successfully in my site (Host Settings) , But
In the Contact us page.. while submitting am not receiving it to my mailBox . I have updated EmailTo ( 3 entries) in ModuleSetting table, still :(
Is they anywhere any boolean to decide , whether it should trigger or not .
Can you suggest the possibilities of this

Rigin,

this module seems not to be available for public, at least I did not find anything when asking Mr. Google. If this is a custom module, then you should ask the maker if you have problems with it, or use another one. I fear that there are not too many people here who could help you with this module.

Best wishes
Michael

Ok, one query , for this module - Is it possible to set a separate SMTP setting  ?

Or is it a must that  ANY module must fetch these SMTP [ below given] from HostSettings itself ?
SMTPAuthentication
SMTPEnableSSL
SMTPPassword
SMTPServer
SMTPUsername

Rigin,

as long as we don't know this module, we can't say anything about the functionalty. You should talk to the programmer who made it or ask the support the company where you got it from. Normally the host settings should be used by using SendMail() method from the DNN framework. The settings for this are found under SMTP Settings in the Host Settings, but in DNN 7.3 there are SMTP Settings also available on a per-portal basis, so maybe you check these settings as well (under Admin::Site Settings, by default SMTP Mode is set to "Host" there).

The other thing that could be is that the programmer of this module did not use this functionality, so if you have the source code available, you shou should check this as well.

I had a strange issue some weeks ago where the SMTP test succeeded in the host settings, but no mail was sent from any module that should send emails using the DNN SendMail() method. The solution was that the used account (to send) was an unattended mailbox that deleted incoming mails immediately, but this was used to send out, which normally worked. The difference was that the MX record of the sender and recipient's mail address did not match the server of the noreply-account. After changing the account everything worked fine.

Best wishes
Michael
