Is there a thread about making your own skin containers etc.?

 

...And where are they ive been searching the whole soultion i cant find the skin files

Your skin and container files should be located in your root/portals/default folder.  In there you should see a folder for skins and one for containers.

I'm not a skinning person but you might want to use the search function to uncover threads on it.

I'm too poor for anything other than the community version

Shows how much skinning I do.  I just noticed the "Make it Hot (Skinning)" forum on the main forum page.  Should have what you need to get started.

The documentation with the source version also does a great job.

Go here and download the PDF docs for DNN.  One in there is a step by step guide - but as said you should also try the forum for Skinning.
