I tested one of the built-in social logins, the Facebook one, and incurred in an odd behaviour.

The site is setted as VERIFIED for new registrations, so the email is sent with a link to confirm and validate the email address used.

Problem is that when I login with the Facebook provider, I get the message stating that I've to verify my account with the link in the email I should have received (and indeed I did). I click the verification link in the email and I am brought back to the login page with no login controls, the verification code in the url and querystring, but always the same message stating I have received and email with verification link... short story I'm still unverified and I'm unable to verify using the email link.

It seems that I'm not able to verify the facebook account. Logged as admin the account has been created but not verified.

For anyone having a similar issue (which was not only with the social provider but with "normal" registered users during activation") the problem was related to the friendly url with the option to convert DNN URLs To Lower Case (managed with a free module X3 DnnUrlManagement http://dnnurlmanagement.codeplex.com/)
