I need some guidance on how to achieve the best setup structure for creating some unique “brand” pages within our DNN site. Client own domains for some of the products they produce and we want to create single info branding pages within current website company name, but these pages should have its own domain names for strengthen different product brands etc.

Which approach will you recommend for the strongest SEO and branding effect?

Subdirectory, subdomain or multisite with the unique domains?

I was simply thinking just to go to DNN - Host – Site management – Add new Site ??? will this work, or can you recommend and easy step by step guide?

Looking forward to hear from you

Many thanks

Regards

Joakim Hansen

creating separate sites is easiest from a side admin point of view. All other methods require you to do custom works in skins etc.

Joakim,
make sure all the domain names point to your IIS. In IIS Website configuration, make sure, all domain names are bound to the website hosting DNN.
Now in DNN, you may login as Superuser ("host" by default) and in Host > Site Management you may add a website for each of your domains, based on either a) default template b) blank template or c) custom template you created from an existing DNN website (same DNN version) in this module.
Afterwards you may manage each of your sites individually.
If you need to have same members for all or some of your websites, you may create a Website Group, using the group editor, available on codeplex.com.
