I'm quite positive there aren't any nbsp's lying about anywhere, and removing padding doesn't seem to help. Good to see that other people are having issues though, maybe it's just something iffy with DNN that'll get fixed in a future release =)

By accident, I've found a solution for my problem, but I don't know if it will work for the rest of you. Using a style sheet, I added padding-bottom to the table at the bottom of my page which contains the COPYRIGHT, TERMS and PRIVACY objects, and this made the white space disappear. The page also looks the same in IE. I'll show all of you the webstie and the appropriate code soon.
