It's on another server connected in private network. But it this call is very few resource demanding I think I should have experienced some other exception for the other db calls outside the scheduler? This seems to be a very "scheduler-related" issue... Also I don't understand this:
09/07/2014 04.13.39Scheduler Exception AssemblyVersion 7.3.1 PortalID -1 PortalName UserID -1 UserName ActiveTabI
09/07/2014 04.13.39Scheduler Exception AssemblyVersion 7.3.1 PortalID -1 PortalName UserID -1 UserName ActiveTabI
09/07/2014 01.11.27Scheduler Exception AssemblyVersion 7.3.1 PortalID -1 PortalName UserID -1 UserName ActiveTabI
09/07/2014 01.11.12Scheduler Exception AssemblyVersion 7.3.1 PortalID -1 PortalName UserID -1 UserName ActiveTabI
09/07/2014 01.11.11Scheduler Exception AssemblyVersion 7.3.1 PortalID -1 PortalName UserID -1 UserName ActiveTabI
Like if the task is launched multiple times together. Is there a way to track which job was that triggered that schedule? May this be some bug of the DNN core? Anyone else experiencing it with 7.3.1?Thans Kelly for your help so far.

Hey Max,

If this is an issue that started happening only after your upgrade then it's possible there is an issue with the new version. I've installed a clean version of 7.3.1. It's the default install with the default content. It has been running since late June and I don't have any scheduler exceptions (or any exceptions for that matter). But that's a default install and it's not doing much, so it may not be a good gauge.

I would investigate the SQL Timeout error further. Look at your schedule history and try to match up which task(s) are getting the timeout and *when*. You should be able to see which items succeeded and which didn't.

Best,
Kelly

are there Servers associated with your Scheduler Jobs?
What are retry frequencies - None should be Zero, I'd also decrease frequency of execution

Thank you both. Going to investigate as you suggested to try to spot the job triggering the errors (assuming it's a single job).
About the version no... I must say I had those on 7.2.2 also so it's not tied to the 7.3.1 version itself you are right.
