Hi All,

I am using the latest version of DNN 431 and the latest version of Documents Module 313.

I understand that there are now Secure and Non secure folders that can be setup using the file manager but I am still having trouble..

If I login as Host then I can upload a document using the document module to the root folder AND to other folders.

BUT if I login as any other user ( Including admin ) then I can only upload to the root folder.( Upload new file disappears)..I know someone is going to tell mne that I have thee permissions setup wrong in the file manager but the Weird thing is that I have Used the Filemanger to give Permissions to all users on all Folders to VIEW AND WRITE to All folders....Is this a Bug or am I missing something.

ie:

View Folder Write to Folder
Administrators
All Users
Registered Users
Subscribers
Unauthenticated Users

Please help.

Hi Ray,

There was a new core release yesterday - can you try that & see if it helps?  If it doesn't please post a followup message to let me know.

Hiya,

Yep the new core release  Document Module (3.1.4) with DNN ( 4.3.2)  sorted out the problem.

okay I am using dnn 3.3 and I am having the same problem - I dont see anything for download past 3.1.2 for the documents module so not sure what I am missing

Which "DNN 3.3" are you using?  The latest version of the 3.x core is 3.3.3, which contains documents 3.01.05 & had the bug fixed.
