We already had DNN 5 and I want to add new module and the module will show the current userID. How can I do that? I am very new to this DNN

Ricky,

you can do this with the standard HTML module and Token Replace. Just add an HTML module, enter the module settings and make sure that the "Replace Tokens" checkbox is activated. Then enter [User:UserId] as text. For a complete list of available tokens please refer to the Wiki.

Best wishes
Michael

AFAIR, TokenReplace does not emit userid for security reasons - you might need to create a custom module (e.g. using RazorHost module).

I tried that token ([User:UserId]) on a 7.3.1 installation and it works perfectly...

Best wishes
