Hi Sebastian!  I've been reading your most helpful posts since 2005 and appreciate your input.

Back to the problem.  I too would think these settings would be available for every module but a few, including these two, don't.  That's why I assume it's just a setting in a table.  Here is a screenshot of my Host - Extensions - Module Settings for the Module "Advanced Settings".

 

As you can see, there is nothing displayed between "Module Sharing" and the next panel titled "Module Definitions".

did you check module definitions section?

Yes, I've checked every nook and cranny of this page and cannot find it.

On other Modules, where it is visible, it appears in the location I identified above.

I assume this is not available for "system modules", which are always assigned to all sites
