Dear All,

After succesfully installing and configuring the dotnetnuke 4.31 it is not possible to reach (access) the site from other computers in my network.

Installation took place on a WinXP (latest SP and updates), SQL 2005 (Updated).

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Antonis

2 things can be the cause of this:

  1. do you have a firewall active?
  2. Did you add the url (or the ip address) you are using to access your pc from a remote computer to the portal alias list? If not, logon as host, go to admin > site settings, and add the remote url to the alias list

cheers,

Erik
